Get to know Mary:

My name is Mary Marczak. I wanted to become a veterinarian ever since I can remember. When I was in veterinary school at Texas A&M, I loved the thrill of never knowing what kind of species I’d be called upon to work on next; and so, I did not pursue a specialty after graduation, but remained in general practice of medicine and surgery. I graduated in 1994. I have practiced mixed animal medicine and surgery the past 27+ years.

Currently I live and practice in La Grange, Texas. My experiences as a veterinarian of multiple species (and their owners) has given me such enlightenment into the art of appreciating and understanding behavior. Once I began to see how forces of our energy can alter our interactions, I then was able to connect with my patients, clients, pets and family on a whole new level. It is increasingly clear to me that being aware of individuals’ needs through verbal and nonverbal communication is monumental in my horse training that I have turned my attention to recently. I only hope I can continue to keep my heart and mind open to change, and perhaps influence others to do the same.
