Get to know Dr. Susan:
Dr. Susan Fay has been a professional musician, environmental scientist, rancher, horse trainer, sport performance consultant, hypnotherapist, and psychology/health researcher. Susan bred and trained Morgan horses for over 20 years and accumulated world and national championships in Morgan dressage. She also showed her horses in open USDF dressage competitions, receiving several regional championships and a USEF Horse of the Year award. She has a bachelors and master’s degree in Environmental Science and a PhD in Psychology.
Dr. Fay’s diverse background enables her to draw on a broad range of experiences and knowledge to arrive at innovative ways to improve horse-human and human-human relationships. Dr. Fay is devoted to enhancing the lives of both horses and people. Through experiential learning and stories, Susan guides her students to an understanding of how animals (including humans) energetically connect and communicate. She teaches equestrians the concepts presented in her book, Sacred Spaces - Communion with the horse through science and spirit, through seminars, clinics, and private sessions
Dr. Fay’s passion is to help people learn how to have a true conversation with their equine partners. She guides students to a greater understanding of where, why, and how true unity and clear communication occurs.
