Get to know Melissa:

Melissa Carey is a dedicated believer of the power of intuition, the interconnection of all living and nonliving things and an awareness of how to attune oneself to this energy. A self confessed empath, who feels very deeply for others inner conflict, has learnt to tap into a healing energy with both humans and horses. After overcoming her own battle with chronic epilepsy diagnosed at age 10, she learnt to use visualisation, her work as a tarot card reader, and her time with horses to heal. For three years Melissa worked as a Tarot card reader at the Third Eye New Age Centre, studying crystal therapy and being treated by a medical herbalist, a reiki healer, Bowen therapy and herbal medicine. Melissa branched out into her own massage therapist business then went on to study early childhood development, social/family studies and early childhood education. Melissa sees her life achievements to be able to have a healthy family unit, look after/heal horses using natural therapies and work in a field that challenges the way we think about nuero-typical energy in young children and teenagers.
